THE SECTION WORKS OF ART CONTAINS MASKS, SCULPTURES AND OBJECTS CHARACTERIZED BY THEIR HIGH ARTISTIC CONTENT AND THEIR UNIQUENESS
Among other things, a collection of richly jeweled silver masks from South India depicting the god Shiva and his consort Parvati stand out.
We also point out a rare covering for the effigy of the thirteenth Tirthnkara Jain (Vimalanath) that adorned the sculpture from head to toe, made in repoussè on a silver plate, with engraved inscriptions, datable to the 19th century North India.
Nevertheless, in this section Works of art, you will see a rare kashkul, in sea coconut and silver used by wandering dervishes to collect alms.
